 Project for AwesomeProject For Awesome, or P4A, is a yearly YouTube project that encourages users to create videos in order to promote their favorite charities, while every comment raises a certain amount of money. The YouTube community then vote on their favorite charities and the top five then split the money made over the 24 hour period – last year, the amount of money raised reached over $480,000. |  VidConVidCon, the yearly YouTube conference, is the largest gathering of online creators, viewers, and industry representatives, growing from 1,400 attendees in 2010 to 12,000 in 2013. Fans and famous YouTube celebrities join up at Vidcon to do performances, meet-and-greets, concerts, and generally have an awesome time at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. |
