This project for Writing 200 - New Media for Nonprofits - was to help the Residential College here at the University of Michigan to redesign their website for their upcoming anniversary celebration. This was only my second time attempting to build a website, and this time the guidelines were stricter.

 

 

I had to use the information that was provided to me by the RC director, but I was allowed more freedom with the design. This project was much more design-based, and the focus was on attracting the target audience and giving them the information they needed in an aesthetically pleasing way. 

 

 

While I wasn't 100% happy with the way it turned out because I wasn't able to do much with the writing content itself other than make it more concise, I  was able to exercise my creativity while learning more about effective design choices.
